ntroduction to Hand2Hand AcroYoga Workshop with Afia & Arapuá

If you would like to take your handstand practice to the next level as well as starting to work with a partner and/or in groups to experience the joy of flying on someone else’s hands this is the workshop for you!

Afia and Arapuá will guide you through a set of AcroYoga exercises and sequences aimed to introduce you to the hand2hand world.
We will polish your handstand practice with different alignment and tightness drills to get your body ready to work on handstands on body parts, foot to hand, and a series of entrances into hand to hand. Be ready for a lot of fun!

Pre-Requisites: Having a straight handstand against the wall
But no partner required!

The Teachers:

Afia Joy Adu-Sanyah is certified as Level 2 teacher by AcroYoga International

Arapuá is an Italian Hatha Vinyasa Yoga and AcroYoga teacher. She got certified as a Yoga teacher in Barcelona at the Yoga&Yoga studio (Yoga Alliance 200h) and as an AcroYoga teacher in Mexico with AcroYoga International ( In 2017 she completed her AcroYoga Level 2 teacher training in Greece. Arapuá is also an Ashtanga Yoga practitioner, handstand freak and Capoeira lover and loves using elements of these disciplines when teaching. She is now based in Barcelona where she teaches regular Yoga and AcroYoga classes, but she often travels between Spain, Italy and South America sharing her passion for Yoga, AcroYoga and Healing Arts.
